About Us

The Federation of Sports and Play Associations (FSPA) is the national trade body representing the UK ’s sports and play industries.

Our member companies include manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, sales agents, retailers and operators of sports and play goods and services whom act collectively to promote, develop and protect their industry.

At the heart of the industry the Federation of Sports and Play Associations is the voice of the industry and the single point of contact. Our mission is:

"To increase participation in sports and play and to promote, foster and protect industry growth and vitality"

Formed in 1919 and formally incorporated in 1926, The Federation has a long history of serving the industry. For 2006 the Federation has increased it's focus on play which has led to the renaming of the Sports Industries Federation to the Federation of Sports and Play Associations.
